Decals For all of our stickers we use high grade commercial vinyl rated for 5-7 years outdoor use. This material will bond well with almost any surface, as long as it's free of dust and oil at the time of application. All decals and stickers we sell are very durable too, we've tested them under1600 psi pressure washer jet and they handled the force just fine, however because the the application surfaces are all different, we do not recommend such pressure at close distance. The main differences between the 3 types of decals are explained below in order to help you make the right choice.
Printed Stickers:
This is the most common type of sticker, where the image is printed on white vinyl. This offers wide variety of options, including photo images, small fonts etc, which delivers great appeal and really, your own imagination is the limit. Printed stickers are also the easiest ones to apply.
Machine Cut (die-cut) decals:
In some ways machine-cut are superior in quality and appearance to printed stickers, in other ways they are limited especially when it comes to size and colours. Machine cut decals have no background. Whatever the image is, try to imagine it on the background of your vehicle's paint or the surface on which you will apply. For example: if your car is light colour, you'll need a dark sticker... if your car is dark colour, or you're planning to apply on glass, then you need a white sticker.
What are mirror-cut decals?
Mirror cut is the type of decal which is applied on the inside of a window, but readable from the outside. Obviously using such decal on tinted glass would not be recommended. Some emergency vehicles also have mirror-cut decals applied on the front hood or bumper, this way when the driver of the vehicle in front look at their rear-view mirror, they will read the words correctly. Mirror-cut decals can only be machine cut, not printed. Not all of our designs are available in mirror-cut.
Magnets
Some of the designs below are available on 0.030" heavy magnetic backing for automotive applications. These magnetic signs are particularly useful if you want to promote BIODIESEL or other alternative fuels while your vehicle is still under warranty. You can re-apply as many times as you want, just make sure that surfaces are clean of dust or dirt. Once applied do not slide the magnet, if repositioning is needed, lift off and place on the desired spot.
Emblems
Our chrome coated automotive emblems are designed to match the quality of your original emblem factory mounted on the car. It's very difficult to have the exact font for every car manufacturer out there, but we have some very universal fonts below to resemble Volkswagen, Mercedes Benz , Dodge Cummins, Ford Power Stroke, Land Rover and many other makes. Pick the one that matches your OEM emblem best. Easy application, instructions come in the package.Style-1 Letter size: 29mm (1 2/16") tall. Some are prearranged and on others letters must be applied individually (stated in the description)
Style-2 Letter size: 20mm (3/4") tall. Some are prearranged and on others letters must be applied individually (stated in the description)
Style-3 (older Mercedes font) Letter size: 26mm (1") tall. Letters are applied individually.
Style-4 (italic font) Letter size: 26mm (1") tall. Letters come prearranged and are applied as a set. Easy 3 step application.
Style-5 (block letters extended font) Letter size: 26mm (1") tall. Letters come prearranged and are applied as a set. Easy 3 step application.
